Weirdest phonecall I've had so far:

Caller: "Hi, I'm interested in your advert in the creative arts magazine,
"Unlock your creative potential". Does that mean I can send films to you for publishing?"

Me: "No, we teach film though."

Caller: "Oh, you teach film. I'm working on some film projects, do you think your course would help me? I want to film porn."

Me: "Umm... what type of cameras will you use? We teach digital cameras."

Caller: "Mostly handheld cameras, to get close shots of the girls, it's hardcore you know."

Me: "Oh."

Caller: "Will it be a problem filming porn on the course?"

Me: "Well you probably won't be allowed to do it for your course projects, but what you learn here you can apply to your own work."

Caller: "Will you have a problem with my sexuality? I like the same sex as myself."

Me: "Umm... no we're very open minded here, we don't discriminate."

Caller: "Ok, I'm gonna come visit on Monday. Thanks, bye."

Now you're thinking this is a wind-up, and it probably was, but the guy was so serious, it really seemed genuine... You couldn't make this shit up!
